Relief: Source code profiler for ASIP design

Summary

To reach high performance, low power, and low cost with sufficient programmability (flexibility), ASIP (Application Specific Instruction-set Processor) is a realistic solution. A good ASIP design is based on right understanding of the applications. Source code profiling is the way to quickly understand execution behavior of applications.

The main goal

The main goal of the project is to establish a toolchain for fast source code profiling during ASIP design.
