BBP2 is a fully programmable radio baseband processor optimized for mobile video (DVB-T/H), WiMAX and WCDMA. It was built to demonstrate the flexibility and performance of the SIMT architecture.

The processor contain five complex valued memory banks (4 banks of 8 kwords of complex data and 1 bank of 10 kwords of complex data).
